Devotional

Well it was about the atonement and there was a really cool quote from Elder Packer it went something like 'What is fixed stays fixed, what is healed stayes healed, what was broken and hurt can all be normal and beautiful again because of the Atonement' and then he talked about faith, and how our investigators need to take that first step en they needro keep pushing forward or it slides back down. I dont know how to explain it better but it was just really good. Oh if you ever wanted to send me some talks that would be awesome! Hollands 'his mercy is suffiecent' I thihnk its called or maybe by his grace or something. I dont know, And some by brother packard. If you could find the talk that the quote that I just gave you from that would be awesome.

Pants in the Mission

From Mom

I'll have to send the rob next week I'm already on the road. But I will drive safe and I did read about the pant thing. (Mosquitoe problem) I asked Angela and Debra if they had heard anything and they said their girls hadn't said anything about it yet. Are you just trying to get another free wardrobe?

From Sam

Our Zone

Cereal

Hello everyone!
week 2 is over and it went by so fast! Time at the MTC is weird. My companion and I taught relief society this Sunday and it went pretty well! Spanish can be very frustrating but we have learned that it is more fun if we just laugh it off. Like, hahahahahahahah in 4 weeks were going to Argentina to preach the gospel and I still don't know how to say basic phrases in Spanish. Its good though, we'll get it. Well other than that the food is getting real old real fast. I am too scared to eat the meat here so I have been living off of lettuce and fruit. We get to eat at the temple cafetiria on Wednesdays though so thats awesome. Oh before we got here our zone had this cereal eating contest and all of the elders were determined to break the record of 118 bowls of cereal. So this sunday we were all threatened to eat only cereal for dinner. Ew. but we did it anyways and ended up with 242 bowls between 32 of us. Anyways, Elder Scheiss threw up at 11 1/2. That was the grossest thing I have ever witnessed and I will never  look at cereal the same way ever again. Um also a weird thing, my new spanish teacher Hermano Roberts went to alta at the same time as me. Sometimes it hard to see him as my teacher, we like went to assemblies and parties together. Weird. Okay so other things that I have learned while here at the MTC...
How to forget my key card everywhere I go
How to make up words that sound like Spanish but aren't
How to write a talk in Spanish for Sacrament meeting in 10 min
How to tell if the elders are really praying, or just taking a nap
Anyways yeah so life is good! I know what everyone is probably thinking, "you just wait" but for now, I am in my happy little MTC bubble and life is good! Oh Elder Redlunds came and spoke to us last night and it was broadcasted to all of the other MTCs. It was an amzing talk, I wish you all could have been there! The gift of Tongues is so real and the spirit here is incredible. I have learned more about myself, my heavenly father, andthe gospel in these last 2 weeks than i have in all of my 19 years of life! Love you all!

Tuff Day

MOM DAD so i have had a really hard time. honestly I don't know if I can do this. I hate my companion and the girls are mean. Spanish is hard and my teachers expect way too much out of me. I will give it more time but I dont know, dont be dissapointed.

The spirit here is the most amazing thing ever. we always have such amazing devotionals!!! I love it and I feel so much peace. i know I am right where i need to be! I have been way to busy to be homesick! The dear Elders help so Much,. Make all of the kids write me them okay? Sometimes the days are really long and hard and kind of stressful but when I come home and I get to read those its like, 'okay I can do this. Anyways thank you for those! okay, in other news, I need a bag asap. The one at the deseret book would be fine. not too small not too big. as lomg and I can fit my books in there. Also, I think I need some sort of cord or card reader to send pics. Can ypu send me that? And I forgot all of my essential oils and I NEED THEM. So send those too. okay so I am going to tell you something and when I tell you I want you to remmeber how I am such a great kid and I am on a mission and I am bringing so many blessings to our fam. So. I had to refrigerate my typoid meds right? So I stuck them in the bottom of the vending machine on our floor. I wrote on them not to throw it away because its my medicine. I took 3 pills (one every other day) and then yesterday SOMEONE THREW THE LAST ONE AWAY. SO. i I got a letter saying that I need my Typoid shot and its $156 What do I do? AM I like half vaccinated? I dont know should I tell them I just took it? Help. I love you guys!
