Heat Stroke

This week was really good! Hermana Watkins and I have been receiving lots of references from the youth in our ward. We do have to bribe them with brownies but hey...you do wjat youve gotta do.

Maria Jose is getting ready for her baptism and is super stoked! She is getting really involved in the young womens and Im so excited for her to keep progressing!

Other than that its been a HOT week, I got heat stroke for te second time and had a real cute rash all over my chest and arms.

Have a great week!

Traveling Hermana

Hello!

This week Hermnana Watkins and I traveled up to Pigüe for divisions with Hermana Hernandez and Hermana Timm. Pigüe is a little pueblito about 3 hours away. We spent a few days with them and it was really nice to have a change of scenery! Its really nice to have an opportunity to share ideas with eachother and watch how other hermanas teach.

When we got home we met up with Vanina before her baptismal interview and she told us about some family problems that had gone on that week. She told us she just needs a little bit more time to feel ready. She is still doing really well and Hermana Watkins and I still leave every lesson that we have with her feeling like she is the one teaching us!

I hope everyone has a good week and a happy Valentines Day! Chau!

Natalia

Hello!

This week Natalia was baptized! When she walked out of the water she was glowing. She is already super excited about callings and has tons of new ideas for the ward!

We also have been helping Vanina this week to feel ready for her baptism on Saturday. She had been a little bit worried about her parents not approving but this last week she talked to them and they both said that they will be there to support her on Saturday!

On Friday we had a leadership meeting. President explained to us all of the new changes in the mission schedule, and the key indicators. While I was there I got to talk to Hermana Bartholomew. It was super funny to think back to all of the funny things that happened when she was training me, all of those experiences just repeating themselves now that Im training Hermana Watkins.

We have spent the last week without electricity. Hermana Watkins is so cute and has just been rolling with it but this morning when we finally had time to clean out our moldy fridge I think she almost lost it. Not the most fun way to spend a PDay.

I hope all is well at home! Have a good week!

Hermana Ortiz. Mi abuelita Argentina. We did service with her this week.
